In conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 79th Birthday Celebration, the Prime Minister's Office and the departments under it held a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony, Mass Sunat Hajat Prayer and Mass Fardhu Asar prayer. The function took place at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque on 17th July afternoon.

Present, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. Conducted by the Wawasan Brunei Office in collaboration with the Civil Service Institute, the ceremony included the reading of Surah Yasin and Doa Kesyukuran.
